Since finding production in his high school years, Ethan Garcia has had an unyielding desire to create. Out of this, the AZURA project was born. His sound is hard to pin down, but the ethos behind it is not. It has always been about creating what he himself wants to see, hear, and feel. Pulling inspiration from multiple places, such as folk, landscape paintings, and indie pop, AZURA fuses it all together to form something unique, yet familiar. He’s shared stages with artists like ILLENIUM and k?d, and had his music featured on Madeon’s Good Faith Radio.

Not merely confined to the producer’s chair, AZURA puts himself front and center as a live performer. His vocals convey an honesty that can’t be captured through music production alone. Opting to sing on his own songs rather than have features, he brings a sense of authenticity that is often an afterthought in this era of hyperconsumption.
